Prior to creating our initial concept map, we wrote out all our ideas onto post-its and laid them out on the table to see if there were any commonalities amongst the team members. Two things stuck out: goals and memory. With these two ideas in hand, we did an initial concept mapping using relevant nouns and verbs.
To stay more aligned with the concept mapping found in the lecture notes, we came up with a second mapping. In the mapping exercise below, two other groups made themselves known: tools and users.
Feedback
After our initial round of feedback, we were a bit general in our concept mapping. In the following photos, we went through a few more steps in creating a more specific concept map.
This final concept map can be summarized as follows: Our system helps to share short term tasks with friends, family, and team members so that they can support us in order to achieve our long term goals.
