Raw Materials

Partnered up with creative leads (copywriter and visual design) at RM to lead the UX efforts on both the digital and physical experience at Casa Bonita restaurant. Early September ‘24, we successfully launched the redesigned website, which was then followed by our first set of reservations being released to our founding members and then to the general public. 

Role and responsibilities

  • Worked with clients on defining the Casa Bonita experience on social, web and IRL leading up to launch day

  • Developed several user journey mappings to identify opportunities within the overall CB experience

  • Defined the various states of the website and member dashboard 

  • Collaborated with the dev team to mitigate the huge influx of traffic on launch day, i.e. no crashing the server or the reservations platform (SevenRooms)

  • Led the UX/strategy work leading into the next phase of https://www.casabonitadenver.com/

Stats from launch

  • 30,000+ people entered the reservation queue in a single day

  • 3,000+ reservations were made within the span of 4 hours

Collaborated with cross functional teams to successfully pitch a major telecom company. The team went from concept to design and into prototypes within the span of a month.

  • Concepting and sketching 

  • Mapped out how each concept worked, which aligned internal teams and brought clarity to clients and clear feedback during tissue sessions leading up to the final presentation

  • Partnered with the development team to create storyboards for several prototypes that would be presented at the final meeting
